Building an NGO network in Albania for the EITI of the extracting industry, September2010- August 2011
At the moment when Albania requested to have the candidate status, the Ministry of Economy, METE, called for the civil society to participate in the initiative to raise the level of transparency in the Extracting Industries. (CDDI) was one the three organizations that answered to this call. Since the beginning, CDDI became an active part in this initiative being also involved in the process of aderation of Albania in EITI (Extraxting Industry Transparency Initiative). To raise to the challenge, a coalition was created with a representative from the civil society to participate in the board meetings. CDDI is currently the leader of this coalition.
In 2010 for a period of 12 months CDDI as leader of the coalition is implementing the project; “Building an NGO network in Albania for the EITI of the extracting industry.
